History
Our restaurant is located in the place where once ran the old pharmacy of the village. Nowadays you can enjoy your lunch or dinner sitting down at a table in a restored building, which like the Palace of La Jadraza dates from the sixteenth century, the heyday of the traps (almadrabas)of the Duke of Medina Sidonia.
With its vaulted shape, La Botica comforted the Duke's guard and the personnel who in those years came from all over the kingdom to work or subsist thanks to the prosperous almadrabas, a millenary art mentioned by Miguel de Cervantes in his novel "La ilustre fregona" and which is still preserved to the delight of the most demanding palates.

Throughout its years of life, La Botica has undergone several renovations to offer the appearance that we can all enjoy today, becoming one of the best known restaurants in Zahara, not only for its cuisine but also for its atmosphere and customers who visit us every season.
